Account deletion process
We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to delete your user account. Please be advised that, due to the regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), we are obligated to preserve certain data for a specified period.

HIPAA is a critical framework that governs the security and privacy of patient information. In compliance with these regulations, Jettison is committed to safeguarding your sensitive health data. As a result, we retain your records for a specified period to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to facilitate any potential future healthcare interactions.
Initiating the deletion process
Open the Jettison.md app on Google Play or Apple AppStore
Tap the 3-line icon in the top right
Tap Account
Tap the gear icon in the top right
Tap DELETE PROFILE
Tap “YES, DELETE”
Alternatively, you may send an email request to help@jettison.md.
Data retention period
Please be aware that while your user account may be deleted, certain healthcare records will be retained for a legally mandated period. This retention is necessary to comply with HIPAA and to ensure the continuity and accuracy of your healthcare data.
